The highly engineered design, and materials of
construction of the F-460 and F-461Series Variable
Area Flowmeters, makes them well suited to
applications where no metals can enter the fluid
path (Ultra Pure), and for highly corrosive applications.
No metals are used for the F-460 and F-461
Series wetted parts, such as floats and float guides. The
float is guided by precisely engineered Polysulfone
ridges, which are molded into the meter body.
This means no metal contaminants in the fluid path.
The F-460 Series and F-461 Series are constructed of
durable, heat and chemical resistant Polysulfone.
Standard float material is Teflon. Adapters may be
ordered constructed of PVDF or PVC and o-ring seals
are Viton.
